William "Bill" Moore, age 84, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Bill was born in 1941 in Welcome, MN to Howard and Hilda. The family moved to Grand Rapids when Bill was a child and he attended local schools, graduating from Grand Rapids High School in 1959. On November 26, 1960, he was united in marriage to Dawnita Flinck in Grand Rapids, MN. Bill worked for Blandin Paper Company for over 38 years. Bill and Dawnita were very active at First Evangelical Lutheran Church and taught release time. He loved maintaining a large garden wherever he moved, including vegetables and flowers for Dawnita. Bill was a very dedicated father, helping his four children with whatever was needed for them, whether it was moving, fixing a car, or offering advice.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dawnita; and six siblings, an infant brother, Helen, Harold, Don, Wilbur, and Jim.

He is survived by his four children, Sherri (Charles) DeYoung of Cohasset, MN, Bradly Moore of Grand Rapids, MN, Michelle Moore-Lehman of Grand Rapids, MN, and Maria (Brian) Baker of Farmington, MN; brothers, Howard (Sharon) Moore, Dick (Joyce) Moore; grandchildren, Ben (Nicole) Jetland, Seth (Jessica) Jetland, Rachel Lehman, Jennifer Lehman, Alyssa Baker, and Danielle Borcherding; great grandchildren, Emily, Jacen, Sam, Noah, Abram, Jude, Eleanor, Aiden, Nolan, Faith, Lilly, and Gavin; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place at a later date with burial at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
