William Charles Mullenix

William "Billy" Charles Mullenix, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2026 at his home. He was born the son of the Eddy and Connie Patton Mullenix on May 1, 1971 in Greenfield. Billy will be remembered as a man who felt most at home with the rumble of the open road and the quiet peace of the outdoors. He had a deep love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, enjoying every chance he could get to ride and feel the freedom that came with it. Billy could often be found outside, especially near the water, spending peaceful hours fishing and enjoying the simple beauty of nature. Whether riding, casting a line, or just soaking in the outdoors, Billy lived life in a way that reflected his love of freedom, adventure, and the natural world. Billy is survived by his mother, Connie; siblings, Andrew "Andy" (Marlene) Mullenix of Aberdeen and Amy Mullenix of Hillsboro; nephews, Scott Mullenix and Austin James Mullenix; niece, Angel Campbell; aunts and uncles, Linda (Roger) Phillips, Barb Fordyce, and Harry Mullenix; and special family friend, Debbie Sellman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Byrda & Warren Patton and Henry & Geneva Mullenix and uncles, Hank Mullenix and John "Dick" Mullenix. Billy will be cremated; no services are scheduled at this time.
