Auburn – Gene Nall Jr, 53 of Auburn died Monday, April 29, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born April 25, 1971 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to his dad, Bill Nall of Calvin, Oklahoma and his mother Charlotte (Hamilton) Love of Holdenville, Oklahoma.
Gene worked as a Tooling Technician at Therma Tru in Butler. When he wasn't working he liked to collect knives and tinker, but most of all he lived to spoil his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, Gene is survived by his wife of 30 years, Amy (Nolan) Nall. They were married October 23, 1993 in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by 2 sons, Jacob Nall and his wife Alyson of South Milford, IN and Canaan Nall of Arkoma, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Amelia Nall, Greyson Nall, Navy Nall and Stetson Nall; brother and sister in law, Clinton and Megan Love of Spaulding, Oklahoma.
Gene was preceded in death by his sister, Kristy Lashbrook, one niece, and two nephews, in addition to several aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 6 PM Friday, May 3, 2024 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5 to 6 PM. Gene believed in investing in the next generation of Christ followers so in lieu of flowers the family has asked memorial contributions be given in memory of Gene to Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46806 Attn: Children's ministry as well as Elevate City Church, 1315 S Hanna St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802, Attn: Elevate City Kids, or in Oklahoma donate to your local children's ministry, in memory of Gene. Celebrations of Life in Oklahoma will be announced by the family at a later time.
