William Henry Ogle

William Henry Ogle, age 92 of Double Springs, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at his residence. 

William was born on June 28, 1932 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Theo Ogle and Anna Letelliere. He was a proud veteran of the US Army, and later found his love for truck driving. William loved to hunt, fish, and play horseshoes. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandbabies. 

Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2024 at Arley First Baptist Church in Arley from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. where the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Roger White officiating. The burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. 

William is survived by his wife, Jeanette Ogle; son, William Henry Ogle Jr. (Mary); daughters, Joy Lynn Grimm, Kristina Ostberg (Michael); grandchildren, William Henry Ogle III (Amanda), Kimberly Messenger (Robert), Charlie Grimm (Amanda), Chad Grimm (Laurie), Todd Santoy, Michael Ostberg, Elizabeth Ostberg; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Freida Yearwood (Jim); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ogle; daughter, Donna O'Donnell; parents, Theo Roosevelt and Anna Ogle; brothers, Theodore Ogle, John Ogle, Earnest Ogle, Don Ogle; and his grandson, Kevin O'Donnell.
