Randy Overman, 64, passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2025.

Randy lived life on his own terms - with grit, laughter, and heart. Over the years, he held various positions but spent the majority of his life working in roofing and construction, a trade that reflected both his strength and determination.

He was happiest outdoors and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in the yard, and taking on small projects wherever he could lend a hand. Randy loved to hunt, fish, and go shooting with his dad and others - hobbies that brought him peace and kept him close to the people and places he loved most.

He had a gift for turning simple moments into memories - sitting on the carport, sharing stories, and listening to his favorite rock and country tunes while catching up with the people he cared about. Randy's easygoing spirit, generous heart, and sense of humor left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, and the way he could make any place feel like home.

Randy is survived by his father, William C. Overman, and stepmother, Nancy Overman; siblings Angie Solomon, Chris Overman, Lee Overman, and Tim Overman; stepsister Angie Bradley; nine nieces and nephews; and eleven great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Harper; brothers Todd Overman and Barry Overman; nephew Cole Overman; and his loving grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Piedmont Cremation and Funeral Service, located at 211 N. Main Street, Graham, NC 27253.
