William was born in Somerville to the late Alfred and Eunice (Mulkern) Palma on May 24,1964 and had lived in South Boston for many years. He was a diehard sports fan, loved Fox News, and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his children and grandchildren.
William leaves behind Karen Tilton, his devoted wife of 55 years. He was a beloved father to Karen Boyle and husband David Boyle, Trina Smith and husband Daniel Smith, William Tilton, Scott Tilton and wife Kayla Tilton. He was a loving Grandfather to Alyssa Stowell, Christopher Smith, Haley Rohrdanz, Dimitri Smith, MaCayla Madan, Scott Tilton, Sophia Tilton, Emily Boyle, Liam Boyle, Aleigha Tilton, Sierra Tilton, Jason Tilton, Justin Tilton, Hayden Tilton, and Hunter Tilton. He was a cherished great grandfather to Abria Smith, Tate Smith, Ayva Stowell, Eli Stowell, and Harper Rohrdanz. He was also a faithful brother to Gail Palma, Cathy Palma and wife Felicia Palma.
