He was preceded in death by his parents William Jamison Parks Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Parks and by his wife Melanie Piner Parks.
Bill was a retired tradesman who had finished his career as a plumber. He was a native of Cleveland, MS. but was recently residing in Terry Mississippi for 20+ years.
He leaves behind 4 sisters, Glenda Parks Pritchard (C.D.), Beverly Parks Kelly, Diane Parks Smith (Ricky) and Susan Parks Conrad (John). He was also uncle to 5 nieces/nephews as well as 7 grand nieces/nephews.
Bill was an avid hunter and enjoyed longtime friends whom he deemed loyal and stalwart. He enjoyed family gatherings most in his last years and was noted by many to have a "good and caring way" with those he loved and who loved him.
He will be cremated and honored at a later date by a private family ceremony.
