William Clair Pattison

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William Clair Pattison, a beloved son, brother, and friend to many in the Brighton community. William's life was marked by intelligence, courage, and a vibrant spirit that inspired everyone around him.

A graduate of Brighton High School (Class of 2023), William was pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and had been accepted into a program at the School of Mines, with plans to graduate in 2028. He was known for his academic excellence, love of sports, and passion for 3-D modeling and gaming. William's hobbies reflected his diverse personality, a blend of creativity and athleticism.

He found peace in nature, where he felt most grounded and alive. Whether it was camping under starlit skies, casting a fishing line into quiet waters, or hiking through Colorado's rugged landscapes, William embraced the outdoors with a sense of wonder and gratitude. These moments offered him clarity, joy, and a spiritual calm that balanced his busy academic and creative pursuits. Nature wasn't just a hobby, it was a sanctuary, a place where he could reflect, recharge, and feel deeply connected to something greater than himself.

His joyful presence lit up family gatherings, and he will be deeply missed by his parents Ngoc and David Pattison, siblings Ryan and Lynn, and many extended family members.

William's life, though brief, was full of meaning and love. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt, every single day.
