William Jonathon Pedigo, 37, of Waxahachie, passed away surrounded by the people who loved him. He was born December 12, 1987, in Dallas, Texas, to Rhonda Barker Pedigo and Danny Pedigo, Sr.

William was the kind of person who made every room lighter just by walking into it. He loved playing Pokémon Go, working on cars, and being around his people. Music was always playing around him. He loved to sing, laugh, and compete in a game of cornhole any chance he got. He was loved and respected by anyone who knew him, not because he tried hard to be, but because he showed up as himself: funny, loyal, and full of heart.

William was a devoted husband to Vicky Austin and the proud father of five. He leaves behind Hannah Coffman, Skylar Carrigan & Chris Stevens, Michael Travis & Lora Jennings, Emma Pedigo & James Wilson, and Wesley Pedigo, all of Waxahachie. He has three grandchildren who lit up his world: Jayden, Nova, and Iris.

He is survived by his father, Danny Pedigo, Sr. of Waxahachie; his mother, Rhonda Pedigo, and stepfather, Tim Lowdermilk, of Dallas; and his grandmother, Joyce Acosta of Dallas. William grew up in a big, blended, loud, loving family, and is survived by his siblings and their families: Danny Pedigo, Jr. of Dallas; Alexander & Sonya Pedigo of Forney; Joseph Pedigo of Dallas; Joyce Pedigo & Marquel Hubbard of Fort Worth; Kendall Rosser of Waxahachie; and Haley Soldervilla & family of Maypearl. He is also survived by his nephews Henry, Mateo, and Rankin, and his niece Gwendolyn. He leaves behind more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends than anyone could ever count.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Manuel Acosta of Dallas; his beloved grandson, Joshua “JJ” Wilson of Waxahachie; and his dogs Chevy and Copper, and his cat Bruce.

William had a special place in his heart for all his animals, especially his dogs Chanel, Luna, and Charlie, and his cat Nigel, who were never far from his side.

William’s memory will live on through every story told, every laugh shared, and every person who loved him. His absence leaves a hole that can’t be filled, but his life leaves a legacy that will never fade.
