Send FlowersLIMA -- William "Bill" R. Perrin, age 74, passed away on February 1, 2026, at 3:40 pm, at the Kindred Hospital in Lima. Bill was born on May 5, 1951, in Lima, OH, to the late Joseph Henry and Ethel Joan (Kennedy) Perrin. On January 16, 1999, he married Susan J. (Kochen) Perrin who survives in Lima.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Robert (Sandra) Perrin of Suffolk, VA, Karla (Patrick) Truesdale of Lima, OH, Kyle (Mindy) Perrine of Lima, OH, Kraig (Angie) Perrine of Lima, OH, and Kristian Perrine of Lima, OH, and family son, Justin Courtney of Wapakoneta, OH, his grandchildren, Kody Perrine, Astasha (Brad Ackerman) Perrine, Kyle "Jr." Perrine, Konner Perrine, Sydney Perrin, Olivia Perrin, Ethan Truesdale, Jayde Truesdale, Khloe Truesdale, Chasity Boedicker, Kristen Boedicker, and Samuel Boedicker, his great grandchildren, Kyson Perrine, Kora Perrine, Camille Boedicker, and Alayna Boedicker, a brother, Mike Perrin of Pandora, OH, and a sister, Becky Perrin of Lima, OH, and a sister-in-law, Chris (Gene) Kochen-Liddle of Napoleon, OH.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Ottoville High School. He started with United Telephone and retired as an engineer with Century Link in 2016 after 45 years of dedicated service. Bill also had worked as a realtor with various real estate companies in the Lima area. He was a member IRWA where he served as president. Bill also belonged to the Lima Eagles #370. He loved to travel, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR, and playing cards. Above all else, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and the time they spent as a family at North Myrtle Beach. He also loved the relationship he had with his special nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:30 pm at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel located at 828 Bellefontaine Ave., Lima, OH 45801. Officiating the service will be Justin Courtney. Friends may visit on Saturday, from 11:00 am until the service at 1:30 pm at the Eastside Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bath Township Fire and Rescue or charity of donor's choice.
