William Pettyjohn Obituary
Bill started his family business Pettyjohn Auto Sales and Service in 1978-2021 with his son Billy Pettyjohn Jr. Bill was a member of the Freeman Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
He also served on the Savannah Water Board for three years. Christian Motorcycle Association, Chapter #1092 for ten years. Bill, enjoy restoring old automobiles and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Vina Elaine of the home; two children, William "Billy" O. Jr. (Elizabeth) Pettyjohn of St. Joseph, and Tina Marie (Sam) Hoover of St. Joseph; two sisters, Sherline (Carl) Nelson of St. Joseph, and Phyllis (Calvin) McDaniel of Tonganoxie, KS; one brother, Brian Bowers of Georgia; nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Norman, Wayne, and Gilbert; one sister, Willie Thomas and one grandson Joey Stevenson.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Friday September 19, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday September 18, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Frazier Number Six Cemetery in Frazier, MO.
