William Arden Pierce, 64, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Artesia, New Mexico. He was born on December 9, 1960, to Eldon and Esther (Rivas) Pierce in Watsonville, CA.
Cremation will take place under the direct care of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
William was born in Watsonville, CA, and spent most of his life there until he moved to New Mexico in 2015. He was an avid collector of model RC planes, vintage gas engines, and tractors. Throughout his career, he worked in road construction and did work for family, friends, and the community. Through his younger years, William and his father helped build up the classic gas engine and tractor club known as the Corralitos Lumberjack Breakfast.
William is preceded in death by his father and mother, Eldon & Ester Pierce
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Anthony and Alexis Pierce, Andrew and Julie Pierce, and Johnathon and Shasta Pierce, plus seven grandchildren. Also, his youngest brother Lee Pierce and oldest brother Eldon Pierce (Jr).
