Born on March 26th, 1956 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is survived by his loving sons Bill David Plott (Dana) and Hunter Plott (Mary Katherine); grandchildren Olivia Plott and Mary Watts Plott; brothers John Plott, Jerry Plott and Geoff Plott. He was preceded in death by his parents William H. Plott, Sr. and Gloria P. Plott and sister Linda P. Duran (Sissy).
Bill spent his early years working in the insurance business at Plott Insurance. The next 30 years Bill spent his life doing what he loved, which was construction and real estate. He devoted his life to his sons, Bill David and Hunter, where he found joy in coaching them in sports and the outdoors. He took great joy in spending time with his family at the farm and beach, especially with his granddaughters Olivia and Mary Watts. Bill was known for his big heart, helping others, and love for oldies music. There will be a Celebration of Life service, graveside, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Jason Duren, officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service.
Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be John Plott, Jerry Plott, Geoff Plott, Al Lancaster, Bo Harris, Chris Cummings, Stewart Smith, Jake Thornell, Bill Buchanan, Ben Minto, Beckham Palmer, Dan Carmichael, and Jeffrey Hollis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration for donations to Freedom Farm, 11760 Nubbin Road, Coker, AL 35452.

So sorry to hear of Bills passing. I just found out. Me and Bill had a blast coaching baseball together. He also bought a 1951 Chevrolet from me that Hunter still has. Love you, Bill Plott! Gonna miss texting I Love you back and forth. Sure, wish I could have talked to you before you departed. You will be missed by many!!! Mike Brannon ~ Love on ~

i was shocked to hear of Bill passing. I´m glad i was able to speak with him and catch up. We we good friends from Marion Military Institute. He never mentioned to me that he was sick when we talked. Thanks to son Bill for answering my call and giving me his number so we could catch up from days passed. Sincerely, Jimmy Knopf 256-595-1969. Call me if there´s anything i can do for the family.
