William Ponzetti Obituary

William J. Ponzetti, 68, of Jeannette, died Thursday, April 18, 2024 at home. He was born Feb. 26, 1956 in Greensburg, son of the late Joseph V. Ponzetti, Sr. and Ethel Jean (Cook) Ponzetti. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Arnold Palmer Motors and he was a member of Ascension Church of Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Ann and a brother, Joseph V. Ponzetti, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Dorrrain (Houser) Ponzetti; a daughter, Christina Mastay (Eric); a son, William "BJ" Ponzetti (Rebecca); three grandchildren, Charlie, Chloe and Ellie; a sister, Nelvia Novak (Tim); a brother, Anthony Ponzetti (Sandy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation of the American Lung Association. To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
