William Ralph Porter, 63, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away June 22, 2024. He was born February 3, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Billy Porter and Barbara Graf.
Bill is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Donyale Porter; son, Devin Robertson (Chloe) and Regan Dixon; grandchildren, Eva Caringola, Gabriel Caringola, Willow Robertson and August Robertson; mother, Barbara Graf; siblings, Lisa Porter and David Porter (Robyn); several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Dorothy Williams; along with a host of family and friends.
Bill could often be found cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. Go Hogs! He was also a huge weather buff and dreamed of storm chasing one day. He was a member of Central Baptist Church; he loved the Lord. Bill found joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren making them smile.
After a long career in sales, Bill went to work part-time at Bass Pro Shop where he made numerous friends that became like family. He thoroughly enjoyed working there and looked forward to spending time with his work friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the MS Society or the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM, Monday, July 1, 2024, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
