William cBill d Price, 86 of Richwood, died Tuesday February 3, 2026 at his home.
He was born April 24, 1939 in Essex to the late Leo Forrest cWhoopie d and Vida LaVon (Reynolds) Price. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Dutton) Price, they were married August 27, 1965 in Richwood and she died April 25, 2019. He was also predeceased by siblings, Glenn Price, Robert Price, Elsie Wiley, Inez Emptage, Mary McElroy and Ella Hague.
Bill served our country in the United States Army. He was retired from the former B.F. Goodrich/Parker Hannifan plant near Green Camp.
Bill loved to go camping, a favorite spot was the River Bend Family Campground near Caledonia. He was meticulous about taking care of his property and was a very talented woodworker. Bill had made a cradle, jewelry boxes and even wood Christmas characters for their yard. He enjoyed reading and watching westerns.
Surviving are daughters, Jan (Jerry) Smith of Dayton, Diana Greenland of Richwood and Pam (Bob) Ingle of Lenexa, Kansas.
Grandchildren: Alyssa (Pat) Jacobs, Alex (Chrissy Hotz) Greenland, Ali (Kyle) Krebehenne, Jennifer (Justin) Doolittle, Ryan Ingle, and Brittany (Deron) Hageman, along with 16 great-grandchildren and one brother, Earl cSonny d (Jill) Price of LaRue.
Military Honors by the Richwood Area Veterans will be given Tuesday February 10, 2026 at 12 noon at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Richwood.
