Obituary William Primus III June 10, 1934 - September 20, 2025 William Primus III, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and educator, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on September 20th, 2025. A Florida resident for all his life, William was known for his deep love of learning, his dedication to his family, and his unwavering commitment to giving back to his community and the world. Born on June 10, 1934, William proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army before embarking on a long and fulfilling career in education. As a professor, he touched the lives of countless college students, always striving to inspire and impart knowledge. His passion for education extended beyond the classroom. William was also a published author and traveled abroad to provide school supplies to children in need, reflecting his caring nature and deep sense of compassion for the less fortunate. William's love and dedication extended to his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Emira Primus; his three children: Allison Primus, Erica Terry, and Brent Primus; seven grandchildren: Wesley, Gabriel, Elida, Zoë, Antonio, Andre, and Nisha; his nieces: Renée Harris, Désirée Primus, Robin Walker, and Juliette Wise; and his nephews, Obia Jennings, Desmond Primus, and Johnathan Heath. He was also a cherished friend to many. William will be remembered for his generosity, intellect, and the love he shared with everyone around him. His impact on the lives of others will not soon be forgotten.
