Born on September 14, 1940 to Steve Leiferman and Edythe (Haessig) Leiferman, his early years were marked by the tragic loss of his biological father. Fortunate to find a second paternal figure, Bill was adopted by Eli Pullman in 1946 after Eli's marriage to Edythe. Bill's foundation was further strengthened by his education at Sunshine Bible Academy, from which he graduated in 1958. Bill's strength as a basketball player earned him a scholarship to a college in California, setting the course for a life marked by perseverance and dedication.
Bill's heart found its match in the love of his life, Foresta Peterson, whom he married on December 23, 1961. Their union blossomed into a family with five children: Feleica, Wade, Damon, Bart, and Bret. Bill farmed and ranched alongside his father Eli for over forty years and was a constant fixture at his children's various sporting events, providing unwavering support from the sidelines.
His community felt his influence as well, with Bill's fervent conservation efforts reflecting his commitment to the land he cherished so dearly. His admirable civic engagement included his membership in the Jaycees and active participation in the Agar Fire Department. His faith and leadership shone at the Southern Baptist Church, where he served dutifully as a deacon and an adult bible teacher. Not just confined to his passion for agriculture, Bill was also a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and an ardent supporter of rodeo.
Bill married Emma Tschetter on September 15, 2018.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his daughter Feleica Pullman; his sons Bart Pullman and Bret Pullman and his wife Jamie Spencer-Pullman; his cherished grandchildren, Angel (Orion) Pullen, William Corcoran, Traci (Cody) Stout, Cheyenne Pullman, Fallon Walters, Allara (Zach) Walters, Tristan Spencer, Landon Pullman, Kiersten Spencer, and Harper Pullman; his treasured great-grandchildren, Sasha Pullen, Atley Pullen, Kinsley Stout, Braumley Walters, Finnick Walters, Nesta Walters, and Elowyn Walters, along with wife Emma Tschetter and a circle of extended family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Foresta, his sons Wade and Damon, and grandson Nathanial. Bill's legacy endures in the land he nurtured, the community he served, and the family he adored.
