William Ray Pyett, lovingly known as Bill, age 50, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on August 25, 2025. He was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him.Bill is survived by his mother, Patricia DeLong; his wife, Jessica; his children, Jessie Ann, William, and Amber Pyett; and his grandchildren, William, Braxton, Kaylynn, and Shawn. He also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will miss him deeply.A hardworking concrete finisher by trade, Bill took great pride in his work. Outside of his career, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He especially loved riding his Harley with his son on the weekends, and his passion for motorcycles and fishing became treasured traditions he shared with his children. Bill’s legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the countless memories he created with those around him.A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 34 W. 2nd Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201.Bill will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
