MORTON – William L. Raubach, 88, of Morton, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born October 24, 1937, in West Frankfort, Illinois, to Frank Joseph Sr. and Mary Ann (Gray) Raubach. He married Sheila Kuchan on August 4, 1962, in Canton, Illinois.

Surviving is his wife, Sheila Raubach of Morton; three children, Jeffrey (Valerie) Raubach of Naperville, Illinois, James Raubach of Springfield, Illinois, and Suzanne (David) Homerin of Pekin, Illinois; one grandson, Chance (Brigid) Homerin; and one great granddaughter, Rory.

He was preceded in death by both parents and 12 siblings.

William served in the United States Army.

While in high school, he participated in baseball, football and basketball. William worked at Caterpillar for over 40 years.

In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and watching his grandson play hockey and baseball.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
