William Re, age 71, passed away on June 13, 2024. Beloved son of the late Guido and Jacqueline (nee Rindone) Re.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Michele (nee Skivo) Re; Daughters, Dana Re and Brittany Re; Siblings, Jacquline McDuffie and Stephen Re; Grandchildren: Carmella Mastrocola and William A. Re. Bill was predeceased by his dear brothers John Re and Michael J. Re.

Bill was a quiet, gentle man who had a strong faith in God. He was a devout Catholic and taught CCD at St. Bernadette’s for many years. He also served as a Eucharistic minister.

Bill’s most precious love was for his wife and family. He loved being a “Poo” to his grandchildren and spoiling them every chance he got, most especially when taking Carmella to five below. Bill had a knack for searching for a good bargain. You could often find him at a few of his favorite spots like Wawa or Pica’s Pizza; and he was always in search of the perfect hoagie, visiting many deli’s to do so – from DELCO to Ocean City, NJ.

Bill loved the holidays – the lights, decorations, train sets, and the Christmas village. He loved sharing these special days with his beloved family and friends. He will always be remembered by all who knew him as being so kind, caring, and surprisingly funny.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s Visitation Friday June 21 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Dorothy Catholic Church, 4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation - https://www.parkinson.org/ways-to-give# would be greatly appreciated.
