William Thomas Redwine, born September 15, 1943, in Bruce Ms. passed away on December 28, 2025 in Batesville, Ms. He was a man known for his generous heart, unique spirit, and unmistakable presence wherever he went.

Funeral services for Thomas will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Thomas was the son of the late Elbert Edward Redwine and Ludie Mae Redwine. He was preceded in death by his siblings James Redwine, Billy Redwine, Bobby Redwine, Leon Redwine, Jessie Mae Redwine, Roy Redwine, Shirley Cochran, and Dessie Chrestman and his late wife Doris Louise Darby Redwine.

He is survived by his siblings, Herman Redwine of Olive Branch Mississippi; Judy French (Mike) of Batesville, Mississippi, and Benny Wayne Redwine of Batesville, Mississippi. He also leaves behind his loving companion and devoted caretaker of 11 years, Bonnie Bloom, who stood faithfully by his side. He leaves behind so many nieces, nephews and cousins that are too numerous to count.

Thomas was well known for his generous nature and kind heart. He never hesitated to give away what he found-whether it was a thrift-store treasure or one of his famous "dumpster finds." His creativity showed through in the hand-painted designs on his trucks, which made him instantly recognizable to anyone who crossed his path. He was one that no matter what you could call him and he would help you in any way he could, in lending money (with interest of course) or changing your oil to fixing flats or anything you needed.

A familiar sight in any season, Thomas could often be found blowing leaves in his yard, taking pride in keeping things just the way he liked them. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos and never missed a chance to share stories of his latest wins—or losses-with a smile. His signature style included cut-off button-up shirts, rarely buttoned, a look that matched his free spirit and easygoing personality.

Thomas will be remembered for his generosity, his stories, his laughter, and the simple, honest way he lived life. He leaves behind many memories that will continue to bring smiles to those who knew and loved him.

During his lifetime he endured many hardships which included falling off a silo at a very young age which caused him to become disabled. Later causing him to have 3 back surgeries. He endured several wrecks in which one caused him to have a plate in his head and once pulling a lawn mower onto his foot causing the loss of his big toe. He embraced all the challenges in his life with endurance. Never complaining just going with the flow. To say he was stubborn was a mild statement. You couldn't change his mind once it was set. You would see him every day driving into or from town because he never was one to sit home. During his young days he looked like a young Elvis which caused him to be a player. Never settling down until his older age. He will be remembered and loved by many for just being Thomas. He will be missed.
