William Fred Rewis Sr. unexpectedly arrived at his journey's end on February 8th, 2025, at the age of 80. Fred was a Polk County native graduating from Haines City High School with the Class of '63. Following his service in the Air Force, he spent most of his life working as a general contractor in the construction industry, taking great pride in his work.
Fred was someone who never met a stranger and enjoyed spending his free time with friends. He was always the life of the party, creating lasting memories with all. Fred's passion in life was fishing; saltwater, freshwater, it didn't matter if he could be on the water.
Fred is survived by his children, William Fred Rewis Jr. of Haines City, FL, Rodney (Annie) Rewis of Florence, MA, and Penny (Tim) Lundquist of Winter Haven, FL; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Madison, Vance, and Georgia; 1 great grandchild, Milo; and a brother, Raymond (Alice) Rewis of Winter Haven, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vance and Inez Rewis.
A service will be held on March 1st, 2025, at 3:00pm at NorthRidge Church, 2250 FL-17 S, Haines City, FL.
