William Alan Reynolds, Sr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 80 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on July 15, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, Bill lived a life full of passion, commitment, and love that touched everyone who knew him.

Bill's early years were spent in Akron before moving to Southgate, Michigan, where he would eventually graduate from Schafer High School and later raised his family in Riverview, Michigan. Upon retirement, he settled on North Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas where he enjoyed his golden years. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Bill served his country with honor as a dental technician.

Bill embarked on a noteworthy career, initially working for Chrysler Engine, Detroit Edison, and Manufacturers bank. His professional journey culminated as Vice President of Information Systems for Comerica, from where he retired after a distinguished tenure at Comerica Bank.

Outside of his impressive professional life, Bill was a man of varied interests. An avid sports enthusiast, he cherished managing his three fantasy baseball teams and was particularly proud of his role as manager up until his final days. He found joy in fishing, cooking, and savoring a good meal paired with wine or his preferred James Bond-style martini-shaken, not stirred. His musical tastes leaned towards the timeless voice of Frank Sinatra, and many will remember him singing "Summer Wind" out of his five wood after a bottle of red with enthusiasm.

Bill's heart was made fuller by his beloved dog, Sadie, and his deep love for family and friends. He traveled long distances across multiple states to maintain and nurture these relationships. Among his favorite places to enjoy a nice meal was Sibley Gardens in Trenton, a place filled with fond memories.

A man of generosity, Bill believed in the power of charity and incorporated it into his lifestyle, leaving a lasting impact on those less fortunate.

Preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Marie Reynolds, his beloved wife, Nancy Reynolds, and dear wife, Margaret Reynolds after Nancy's passing. Bill is survived by his loving children, Bill (Mary) Reynolds, Jr., and Nicole (Todd) Brown; his cherished grandson, Cole; and his dear sisters, Barbara (Sonny) Brooks and Carol Jongewaard. He also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill's life with a visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a service at 2:30 PM. Both will be held at Michigan Memorial Park Main Chapel. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home at 1:30 PM to process together to the park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.delsride.org (Cure AHC), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a veteran organization of your choice, honoring Bill's legacy of giving and compassion.

Bill will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the vibrant memories he created that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him
