William A. "Bill" Rice, Jr. - age 78 of Knoxville passed away Friday morning, October 31, 2025 at his home. Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver.
Preceded in death by his parents, William A. "Dub" Rice, Sr. and Ellen Newcomb Rice; and his sister, Sherry Thomas.
Survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen Bradley Rice; sons, William A. "Bo" Rice, III, and Justin Kendall Rice, Sr.; grandchildren: Bryson Lee Rice, Paisley Marie Rice and Justin Kendall Rice, Jr.; siblings and their spouses: Mike and Faye Rice, Johnny Rice, Thomas Rice (Ellen), Dean and Ann Rice, Robin and Terry Barnes, Doug and Cissie Rice, Lisa and David Hardin; brother-in-law, Paul Thomas; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 4th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Chris Everhart and Rev. Charles White officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5th in the Highland Memorial West Cemetery for graveside services with full military honors being conferred.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Bryson Rice, Larry Dean Rice, Sammy Johnson, Tim Dane, David Davis, and Jonathan Sims.
Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
