William F. “Bill” Riley, Age 90 of Trenton, passed away on December 30, 2025. Born October 30, 1935 in Detroit to Alexander and Aileen Riley. Bill earned a Bachelor's degree in business at the University of Detroit while working full-time, and serving in the Army National Guard. He retired in 1995 from Great Lakes Steel and enjoyed his lengthy retirement with his family.
Bill was a loving husband of Lois (Sutton) for nearly 64 years. He was a dedicated father of Colleen (Jerry) Herman. Bill was the proud grandpa of Emily and Christopher. Bill was a cherished uncle to Mark (Jill) Riley.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Aileen, his brothers, Robert and Richard, sister-in-law Rosemarie, niece Julie, and nephew David.
Bill will be fondly remembered for his warmth and dedication to his family. He was quick with a joke for his friends, or a box of Elliot’s donuts for his health care workers and loved the casino. He will be greatly missed.
