William “Bill” A. Ritschke, age 65 passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep at Rose Mary Manor in Mattoon, WI. He was born in Oshkosh on June 7, 1960 to the late Duane and Shirley (Stroud) Ritschke.
Throughout his life, Bill found joy in the simple treasures of nostalgia. He especially cherished listening to recordings of his grandpa Victor and Uncle Dick as they reminisced about the good old days.
Bill is survived by his brothers, Wayne (Suzanne) Ritschke and Ralph Ritschke; half-brother, Kevin Ritschke; special uncle, Richard Ritschke.
In addition to his parents, was preceded in death by his brother, John Ritschke. Bill will also be warmly greeted in Heaven by his cherished Grandpa Victor, whose open arms will surely welcome him.
There will be no formal services held at this time.
His family takes comfort knowing that Bill spent his last Christmas Eve surrounded by the caring staff and residents of Rose Mary Manor, sharing laughter over pizza and enjoying the festive sounds of Christmas music. Over the last several years at Rose Mary Manor, Bill flourished in a loving environment, a testament to the exceptional care he received, for which his family is immensely grateful.
