William David Robert Waters

William David Robert Waters (Bobby), 81, passed away in Danville, Virginia, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Waters, and sister Ella Mae Waters. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Sterling Waters, Jr., and Mayo Barkley Waters, and brothers, Raynor Waters, Lucious Waters, and Charles Waters. Cherished and heartfelt memories are left with his nephew Craig Waters and wife Karen, along with grandson Hamid Dawson (Lena) as they cared for him and supported him in his final years of life. He leaves special memories with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as other extended family and friends. The Waters family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 22, 2025; viewing from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM, and service from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. A repast will immediately follow the service. A committal service will be held at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
