William H. Ruey

Naugatuck, CT William H. Ruey, 66, loving and devoted husband of Donna (Leca) Ruey, died unexpectedly on April 25, 2023 at his home.
Billy was born September 15, 1956 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Leona Guarini. He worked as a supervisor in plastic manufacturing and was a hardworking, generous man who sacrificed for his family and was always willing to help others.
He was an animal lover and an avid sports fan, especially the New York Yankees, Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs. Billy enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt and he loved listening to Bruce Springsteen music.
In addition to his loving wife Donna, Billy is survived by his step father, Joseph Guarini; his sister in law and brother in law, Cheryl and John Dinihanian; his sister in law, Patricia Leca; several nieces and nephews and his beloved animals, Rosie, Cougar, Morris and Stumpy.
All services will be held privately and there are no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Billy's memory, donations are requested to ASPCA of CT, 359 Spring Hill Road, Monroe, CT 06468.
