On Friday January 30, 2026, at 1:45am God called Billy home.

William Milton Satchell Sr (Billy) was born in Philadelphia, Pa on February 26, 1935 to John Stachell and Minerva Grant Satchell. He had three brothers (deceased) and six sisters (4 deceased). His sister Nancy Drummond lives in Philadelphia, Pa and Joanie Toombs in New Jersey. He received education in the Philadelphia school system.

In 1954 Billy enlisted in the Army and progressed to the rank of SP3. He served 2 years and was honorably discharged in 1956. He was awarded the good conduct medal.

In 1990 he retired from the Philadelphia Housing Authority and moved to South Carolina with his wife Susanna. In 1993 we moved to our farm in Trenton, South Carolina. He was busy with the garden and his animals. He also drove a school bus for the Aiken County school district.

In 2017 he and Steven built a new home in Summerville, SC. He found Summerville Baptist Church which became his church home.

Hunting and fishing were his favorite activities as well as camping.

So now he leaves to mourn his wife Susanna, two sisters (Nancy and Joanie), two sons, William Jr, Steven, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two daughter in-laws, two step daughters, one step daughter (deceased) and three step sons (deceased) and a host of friends.

Billy had a wonderful life and we have many good memories.

Rest in peace and we know that being a Christ follower, you are now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
