William Earl Saulters, 73, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away to his heavenly home on Monday, November 18, 2024. He was born in Waco, Texas, on December 19, 1950. He lived a full life and was a simple man who loved his family deeply.
William had a lifelong interest in agriculture, beginning with his visits to his grandparents farm in Lorena, Texas and his involvement in the Future Farmers of America (FFA). He also was involved in the Community 4 H Club showing sheep. He spent a lot of his youth playing sports and even bull riding. He also enjoyed gardening; he sure could grow a tomato plant! Through his simplicity, he took great pride in his family and the simple pleasures of life. William enjoyed coaching his children and granddaughters in baseball and softball, cherishing the time spent with family and the joy he found in the game. He also enjoyed watching horse races, football, and baseball. While William was not perfect and made mistakes during some of the more challenging times in his life, he always carried a deep sense of love for his family and deeply regretted some of the choices he made along the way.
William is survived by four children: Shane and wife Shawna Saulters of Farmersville, Stephanie and husband Donnie Meeks of Farmersville, Kim Saulters of Ft. Worth, and John Hale of Wylie. He was a proud grandfather to Gage, Alex, Ashlee, Garret, Micah, Jeremy, Hailey, Miller, Avery, Kylie, and Grant, and great-grandfather to Sawyer, Lucy, Claire, Cullen, Griffith, and Kaia. He is also survived by his brothers Reggie Saulters and Roy Saulters both of Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe and Dolores Saulters, and his sister, Connie Range.
William’s legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched with his quiet spirit. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
