William Scaife

WILLIAM SCAIFE, 68, of Cleveland, OH passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Metrohealth Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born May 12, 1952 in Somerset, PA. William graduated from Lincoln West High School, class of 1971. He served country his in the United States Marines from 1971 thru 1974, stationed at Camp LeJeune. He drove a tow motor at the GM Parma Plant for 16 years, retiring in 2015. He was a member of the UAW Local 1005, Parma. William enjoyed driving/traveling, visiting flea markets, and watching TV. Mr. Scaife is survived by his children, William Scaife of Cleveland, Scott Scaife of Cleveland, Tracy Scaife of Parma; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Warner and Mary Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Doris Scaife; siblings, Freddie, Edith, and Floyd Scaife; parents, Fred and Velma Scaife. Friends may call 10-11am Wednesday, July 22 at the Busch Funeral Home, 4334 Pearl Road, Cleveland. Service will begin at 11am with Reverend Joe Egnor of Cleveland Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland.
