William Schandel Obituary
He was born on July 25, 1936, to the late Adolph and Anna (Gestrich) Schandel.
William was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany.
William retired from Timken Steel where he was a saw operator. He farmed at the family farm and drove stock cars. He enjoyed working on cars and hunting.
He married Rosemary (Heitger) in 1963 and they shared 62 years together.
In addition to his wife, Rosemary, he is survived by sons, William V. Schandel, Charles Schandel, and Robert (Jenny) Schandel; daughters, Susan (Peter) Pribonic and Bonnie (Gary) Schiffner; one sister; ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Geers.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2025, at Heitger Funeral Home, Massillon Chapel from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Holy Family Parish - St. Clement Navarre Campus.
Burial will take place in the Siffert Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss Rosemary and family. I just found out about Bill today. I would not have been able to attend because I fell almost 3 months ago and I´m still dealing with some health issues but hope to get with you soon and know that I´m thinking about you and praying And sending my love
