William Schell Obituary
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating and the eulogy to be delivered by Lucy Schell. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the Paulk Funeral Home.
Will was born April 26, 1981, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to William "Billy" Lambert, Jr. and Sara Wynn Schell. He was a 1999 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Will was employed with CSX Transportation as an Engineer for 19 years. He loved his family and always put others first. He loved to read, hunt, fish and travel out West. Will attended Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister; Brooke Schell Lovin & Shawn of Brunswick; nieces: Summer Lovin and Autumn Lovin; aunts and uncles: Inez Hood, Ann White & Jimmy, Seleta DeAngelis & Mario, Helen Wynn Carlisle, Linda Wynn, David Wynn & Regina, Mike Wynn, Charlotte Cobb & Emory and David Schell & Lucy. Numerous cousins and close friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bill & Elwanda Schell and Clarence & Beatrice Wynn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Christian Kitchen, P.O. Box 1195, Fitzgerald, Georgia, 31750, or Arbor Baptist Church, 1137 N. Merrimac Drive, Fitzgerald, Georgia, 31750.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.

This verse came to my mind the moment I heard the news this morning. You were, to me, the very definition of meek-not in weakness, but in gentleness, humility, and quiet strength.
Always soft-spoken, always polite, you were a true blessing to know and an absolute pleasure to work with. I will forever cherish all of our conversations about music-your thoughtful suggestions, our shared discoveries, and the way you would laugh whenever I reached over to change the radio station. Those moments were small, but they meant more than you knew.
You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Your kindness, your sincerity, and your gentle spirit will remain with all of us who had the privilege of knowing you.
