William J. Scholl, IV

Age 69, of Longport, N.J., passed away December 28, 2025. Born in Wynnewood, Pa., William spent most of his life in Longport, N.J. William will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, dedication to his faith, and for his generosity to the various charities he supported including the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. William was a member of the Margate Log Cabin where he loved playing pool. He was also a member of the Steamfitters Local Union 420 out of Philadelphia. William and his daughter shared a love of the Philadelphia 76ers and spent countless hours discussing the game of basketball. William retired and enjoyed sitting on his front porch and spending time with his two granddaughters Liyah and Farrah. William is survived by his wife Barbara; his son William J. V. whom he referred to as his right hand man; his daughter Mary Scholl; his grandchildren; and sisters Suzanne Scholl Gramlich and Nancy Scholl; and nephews Brandon Gramlich and Matthew and Joey Scholl. He was preceded in death by his father William J. Scholl, III, his mother Jeanne (nee Doak) Scholl; and his brother Joseph James Scholl. At William's request, cremation and services will be private.
