William L. Schug, formerly of Constantia, NY and most recently of Fuquay Varina, NC, went home to be with his Savior on Saturday, August 30, 2025 after a long, courageous battle with illness. William will be remembered as a loving husband to Sandra who passed on November 3, 2015, father and grandfather who loved woodworking, fishing, playing cards and enjoying a good home cooked meal with his loved ones. He also selflessly served our country in the Navy and served with the Constantia Fire Department for many years.
Surviving are his sister, Eva Jane Cubells; his children, Sonya (Adam) Frymoyer, David (Jeannine) Schug and Sheryl (Tim Decker) Pendell; grandchildren, AJ Pendell, Benjamin (Kate) Frymoyer, William (Kelcie) Frymoyer, Matthew Schug, Nicole Schug and Wyatt Decker; and his first great-grandchild, Loretta Jean Frymoyer.
A private graveside service will be held at Constantia Cemetery at a later date.
