Lee Sessoms

William "Lee" Sessoms, 34, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Beau Swafford officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, with Chad Nutgrass, Garrett Buie, Grayson Buie, Chris Cobb, Dakota Sellers and Garrett James serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be fellow Field Core and APM brothers, Bart Altman and Bronco's and Red Death Alumni, Logan Boller, Ryan Knight, Taylor Hill, Garrett Browning, Justin Perkins and Cole Ferrell.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at the funeral home.

Lee had lived in Brunswick all of his life. He was a Class of 2010 graduate of Brunswick High School and attended Coastal Pines Technical College in Jesup. He was employed as a welder for Field Core, and a blader for APM. Lee attended Community Church and loved spending time with his son, enjoyed playing golf, cooking and grilling.

Lee is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Sherri Smith; his son, Henry Branch; and Henry's mother, Alexia Branch; siblings, Logan Smith (Jessie McDonald), Landon Smith (Anne Marie) and Linzi Smith Delaney (Bennett); aunts and uncles, Trey Mullis, Donna and Paul Velie, and Allen and Debbie Howard; nieces, Frankie Rae and Josie Lee Smith and Margaret Joy and Dorothy Ann Smith; grandparents, Frank and Barbara Mullis; and a host of cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roudonald & Jessie Smith.

Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
