Wiliam W. "Bill" Sherman, 93, formerly of Fayetteville passed away on August 19, 2025. He was born in Marine City, MI and graduated from the University of Michigan. He was an engineer at General Electric for over 30 years until his retirement.

Bill was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fayetteville and CNY Cursillo. He was an avid skier, water-skier, gardener, and woodworker. Bill volunteered for ABC. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Joyce and their family, and one of his favorite places was Cranberry Lake.

He was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Joyce; daughter, Linda Celauro; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Zebrowski; his parents and siblings.

Bill is survived by two daughters, Elaine Boardway and Leslie (Mark) Zebrowski; grandchildren, Stephen (Kathryn) Zebrowski, Marci (Kathryn) Roberto, Zachary (Klaudia) Zebrowski; great-grandson, Milo Zebrowski; and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be from 12:00 - 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Trinity Church, 106 Chapel St., Fayetteville. The service will follow at 1:00 pm. Private burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery.
