Mr. William Oscar Small

William Oscar "Lil Boy" Small was born on December 13, 1960 in Pitt County to Susie Small and William Ernest Small. He departed this life on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
William grew up and resided in Pitt County where he attended the Pitt County Schools. He was a graduate of D.H. Conley High School class of 1979. He was an intricate part of the wrestling team during his four years of high school.
William enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He completed basic training and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC. He left the Marines as a Sergeant.
William worked several jobs after returning home from the military. He was employed by Pitt County Memorial Hospital as well as Greenville Police Dept. William loved to do yard work, watch boxing and his Monday, night bowling league. He also loved to go riding on his Harley Davidson.
William was preceded in death by his father, William Ernest Small; his brother, James Henry Leavy.
William leaves to cherish his memories, five daughters, Sheri Small Atkinson (Keith) of Wilson, NC, Chakerria Small of Anderson, SC, Aaliyah Small, Amiyah Small both of the home, Essence Heckstall of Greenville, NC; four sons, Rondell Razor, Shamar Satterthwaite both of Greenville, NC, and William Jayden Small of the home, Elijah Rayon Davenport of Plymouth, NC; nine grandchildren; his mother, Susie Leavy Small of Grimesland, NC; three sisters, Dorothy Daniels (Rudolph) of Greenville, NC, Ella Small and Mahalia Joyce Small both of Grimesland, NC; one brother, Raymond J. Small (Doris) of Fayetteville, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
