William Newton Small, 90, Marion, passed away at 12:48 am on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Marion Health in Marion. He was born in Madison County, Indiana on Saturday, August 3, 1935 to Mervin and Mary (Owen) Small. On April 1, 2008 he married Barbara Jean Spencer, who survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; two sons, Jim Shook and Jeff Shook.
