William Jennings Bryan Spencer went to his eternal home on June 5, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1948, in McKinney, Texas, to W.C. ("Dub") and Helen Shelton Spencer.
On November 4, 1967, he married the love of his life, Loretta Mae Latham-Spencer, in McKinney, Texas. Together they built a life full of love, family, and enduring memories.
He is survived by his wife Loretta Spencer and their children: William Earl Spencer and wife Sonja, Eva Marie Spencer and husband Brian Swedlund, Jason Ryan Spencer, Kimberly Nicole Crutcher and husband Terry, Lisia Marie Griffitt and husband Robert, Harlee Rayne Spencer, and Alyssa Marie Spencer.
He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: William Jennings Bryan Spencer, Trenton Spencer, Cheyenne Curiel, Tara Crutcher, Trey Turner and wife Bailee Turner, Waelyn Spencer, Makayla Hernandez, and MacKenzie Hernandez; and by his great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Sage Turner. He also leaves behind his sister, Sheila Spencer McFarland and husband Ritchey, and his brother, Frankie Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. and Helen Spencer; his sister, Willie Spencer; his brother, Rickey Spencer; and his granddaughter, Baby Girl Spencer.
Bryan was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud Papa and Great-Papa. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
