William K. Stobert Jr.

William K. "Butch" Stobert Jr., 80, of Brackenridge, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at the VA Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Jan. 26, 1942, in Harrison Township, to the late William K. "Pap" and Elvira J. (Schietroma) Stobert. Butch lived his entire life in Brackenridge, where he worked for Brackenridge Borough for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. Butch was of the Catholic faith and a member of Harrison Township VFW, Brackenridge American Legion and a former member of Oregon Club, Brackenridge. Butch graduated from Har-Brack High School in 1961 and enjoyed his tool collection and basketball. He especially enjoyed his family, children and watching his grandchildren play sports. Survivors include his companion of 33 years, Connie L. Stokes Pomrenke; his children, Dawn M. Stobert, of Natrona Heights, Lonnie L. (Ciara) Stobert, of State College, Lisa A. (David) Weidner, of Melbourne, Fla., William H. (Christine) Clark, of Freeport, Sean (Serena) Clark, of Vandergrift, Eric Clark, of Natrona Heights, Rachelle (Ronald) Jones, of Manassas, Va., and Jamie (Grant) Walters, of Natrona Heights; grandchildren, Laina, Lawna, Justyne, Keirrie, Cody, Colton, Caleb, Bailey, Cameron, William, Shona, Gage, Jrake, Aiden, Mia, Ava and Lincoln; and eight great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel A. Stobert, in 2000.
