A Funeral Service for William Ira Strange, of Simmesport, will begin at 7:30pm on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville, LA, with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating.
William Strange, age 73, passed away on Tuesday at Rivere De Soleil Nursing Home in Marksville.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Betty Strange of Simmesport; Son, William Joseph (Krista) Strange of Baytown, Texas; Daughters, Trinity Harris (Adam) of Simmesport, and Billi Jo Prothro of Simmesport; 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William & Elsie Strange; Brothers, Clarence Strange, Johnny Strange, and Jimmy Strange; Sisters, Roselle Bowen and Brenda Sherman; two Great Grandchildren, Greyson Prothro and Zachary Tippit.
Visitation will be 10:00am to 10:00pm on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville.
