William A. "Bill" Taglianetti, 87, of Salem, NH, formerly of Groton, Ct and Derry, NH, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 16, 1938, to the late Carlos and Agnes (Lamont)) Taglianetti, in New London, Connecticut.

Bill spent his life in the service of others: first as a teacher, then as the Director of the Cerebral Palsy Clinic in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Additionally, he served as the Division Chairperson for Nursing and Allied Health at Northern Essex Community College. He went on to serve as the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at Massachusetts Bay Community College. In mid-life, Bill diversified and shared his talents with the Red Cross of NH. Bill finished his illustrious career as the Supervisor of Vocational Rehabilitation for the NH State Prison System. Bill spent his entire life believing in the restorative and redemptive power of education. He instilled the belief in the importance of education his own children, grandchildren, and everyone he met.

Bill loved movies, he was a patron of the arts, loved classical music, chocolate frappes, and traveling with his wife and friends. In his later life, he was able to visit to Italy, Alaska, Panama, the Western Caribbean, and Nova Scotia. Bill was a history buff and loved to travel to places he studied.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Patricia E. (Maynard) Taglianetti, of Salem, NH; his children: Michael Taglianetti and daughter in law, Susan, of Henderson, Nevada, His son Paul Taglianetti of Lancaster, Ca, Margaret (Taglianetti) Decker and her partner Roy Cerrbone of Salem, NH, and Elaine (Taglianetti) Binette of Derry, NH. He is also survived by his siblings, Elizabeth (Betty) Taglianetti and Anthony and Sherrie Taglianetti.

Bill was a beloved papa to grandchildren: Ryan and Erica Decker of Newton, NH, Connor and Olivia Decker of Londonderry, NH, Cooper and Zoe Binette of Dunbarton, NH, and Joseph Binette and his fiance, Olivia Sullivan of Londonderry, and his beloved great-grandchildren, Chase and Charlotte Decker of Newton, NH.

Bill was the uncle to many nieces and nephews; all of whom he adored. Bill had a core group of life-long friends. He cherished each and every one of them. He never missed a chance to spend time with this core group his entire life.

In addition to his parents, Bill is predeceased by his brother, Charles Taglianetti, his sister, Alice Lamont, and his sister, Mae Lamont Bright and her husband, Ross Bright.
