William Taylor Obituary
William was born in Dalton, Georgia, on March 26, 1968, to the late James Edward Taylor, Sr. and Barbara Ann Higgins Taylor. He was a man of deep faith who loved Jesus, cherished his church family, and found his greatest joy in his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Renee Kendrick.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, James E. "Jimmy" Taylor, Jr. and Elizabeth Taylor; sister, Ruth Barnes; four step-sons, Jacob Pickelsimer, Patrick Cuzzort, Timothy Townsend, and Scott Townsend; step-daughters, Sabrina Townsend and Sarah Brawley; and three grandchildren, Ben, Cieanna, and Jessa Townsend.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 1:00 P.M., Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Shane Pierce and Sammy Randolph officiating. Interment will follow at Cohutta Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Dalton Funeral Home.
