William Dale Temple Jr. of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born August 21, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to William Sr. and Patsy (nee Chastain) Temple and entered into rest Monday, February 17, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 69 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Temple Sr., and his siblings, Linda Temple, Sherri Burnett, and James Temple.
He is survived by his loving wife, Giovannia "Joanne" (nee Finocchiaro) Temple; son, William (Dana Tuck) Temple III; grandchildren, William Temple IV, Austin Temple, and Isabella Temple; siblings, Larry (Debbie) Temple, Tim Temple, and Flossie (Eric) Wills; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
William was loved for his infectious sense of humor and the kindness he shared with everyone around him. He was a 1973 graduate of Northwest High School and he made his mark on the track as a cross-country runner under the guidance of Coach Nelson. As a dedicated UAW Millwright since 1975, William built a remarkable career rooted in hard work, commitment, and excellence. A passionate sports enthusiast, William's love for all kinds of sports was undeniable. His big heart and genuine nature left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.
