William "Bill" Thomas

William (Bill) H. Thomas, 82, of Monahans, Texas, passed away on February 28, 2026. Bill was born on June 9, 1943, in Warren, Ohio, to Paul and Dorothy Mae Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judy Young.

Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Petra (Pat) Thomas; his son, Craig Thomas and wife, Christine; his daughter, Nikki Perrault and husband, Shawn; step-daughter, Diana Burton and husband, Michael; and step-son, Ramon Martinez, Jr. and wife, Karen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alex Keegan (Wesley), Gabby Thomas (fiancé Matt Lemelin), Shelby Clarice-Thomas, and Camden Perrault, step-grandchildren, Jeremy Reyes, Jared Polanco, Summer Gaddis, and Lee Martinez (Adri); great-grandchild, Everleigh Thomas; step-great-grandchildren, Barrett Gaddis, Baker Martinez, and Baylor Martinez; and his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Quintana. Bill also leaves behind his beloved "girls," Lucy and Gabby, his cats.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Harkey Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held by the family.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Laura Jane with Angels Home Health, to Dr. Thaung and the staff at Monahans Hospital, as well as Dr. Dar and the nursing staff at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. We also offer a very special thanks to the hospice staff for the comfort they provided, and to Heather Gonzales at Harkey Funeral Home for her patience and guidance with the final arrangements.
