William Allen "Bill" Thompson went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2024 after a long illness.
Bill was born May 20, 1953 at Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Willie and Mary Jordan Thompson. He was a retired machine operator for the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Suvivors include his loving wife of 50 years Kathy McCormick Thompson; a daughter Cassie and Clarence Dingus; a son Steve and Amy Thompson; grandchildren Katelyn (Zack) Triplett, and Christina Adams; a great grandson Sawyer Triplett; a sister Shirley Caudill; and special friends Arbie Thompson and Doc Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday August 2nd at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Damron and Bro. Ray Messer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, Kentucky.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday August 1st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
Care for Bill and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
