William To

William To, born on January 2, 1954, in Vietnam, passed away on February 12, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, resilience, and deep love for his family.

He carried the strength of his roots with him when he came to the United States and proudly became a citizen in the 1980s. He built a life grounded in dedication, sacrifice, and quiet perseverance.

For most of his working years, he worked as a cook in Chinese restaurants, where he took pride in his craft and in providing for his family. Even in retirement, he found renewed purpose and community working as a produce clerk at Giant, where his steady presence and strong work ethic continued to shine.

Above all, he cherished his role as a grandfather. Caring for his two grandchildren brought him immense joy and meaning. He always looked forward to returning to Vietnam to visit the family he loved there, especially his sister and his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Helen To; his sons, Steve To and Scott To, and daughter, Dion To; his daughters-in-law, Rejy Sargan To and Tram Nguyen To; his two grandchildren, Theo and Lucas; his sister; and many beloved nieces and nephews in Vietnam.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions are appreciated but not expected.
