William “Tommy” Thomas Bolton, 61 of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday March 29, 2026, at Signature Health & Rehab. He was born on June 22, 1964, in Halifax County, North Carolina. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean Bolton, his parents William and Rubie Bolton, sister Annie Smith and brother Billy Bolton.
He is survived by his brothers Danny Bolton (Terri), Jamie Bolton (Margarette), brother-in-law Alvin “Peanut” Smith, nieces and nephews Benjamine Tripp, James Bolton Jr., Britney Spence, Tonya Bolton, Daniel Bolton, Danny Bolton Jr., Allison Bolton, Lauren Bolton and Alston Bolton.
Tommy was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church who always help with fundraisers buy selling tickets or plates. He loved to go fishing.
Tommy favorite bible verse was John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
There will be a private memorial and burial.
